Effects of Radiation and Mass Transfer
on an Unsteady MHD Convection Flow in a Porous Medium with Viscous Dissipation
- A Finite Element Technique

Finite element method is implemented to study the “Effects of radiation and mass transfer on an unsteady MHD convection flow in a porous medium with viscous dissipation”. The numerical solution thus obtained, presented graphically for velocity, temperature and concentration profiles with in the boundary layer and tabulated results for skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are discussed. It is observed that the radiation parameter increases, the velocity and temperature decreases in the boundary layer. Whereas when thermal and solutal Grashof number increases the velocity increases.
